“ The sea, like human skin, has a translucent quality, with no inherent colour, reflecting what lies beneath and the elements surrounding it. I was born and raised near the sea, as a young man I spent many years next to it or on it in some form and although I now live and work amidst the English countryside, I remain drawn to the sea; it is a kind of refuge”.
